生态修复

生态修复 is the process of guiding the recovery of degraded or destroyed ecosystems in agricultural, 城市, 和 mined l和scapes 和 associated waters.  学生 in the 生态修复 major study ecology, 地质, 植物科学, 土壤科学, 和 restoration principles.

The curriculum accommodates both in-class 和 field-based learning designed in conjunction with the Society for 生态修复’s 和 Certified 生态修复 Practitioner In-Training 程序(CERPIT). In addition to attending graduate school, students may find careers as restoration program representatives, l和scape ecology technicians, mine rehabilitation specialists, or natural resource managers.
